After a light workout this morning (drills, stides, med balls), I headed up to Soho for dinner. I got off at Oxford Circus, a bustling corner filled with every shop imaginable. Although I was VERY tempted to go shopping, particularly at Topshop, which my friend Margaret raved about, I decided that was a better post race activity so I resisted.
Although it doesn't get much busier or more hectic than the Oxford Circus intersection of Oxford & Regent, in just a few block of walking we came to Mildred's Restaurant, a cute & delicious place on a street with minor activity. The restaurant is vegetarian with some vegan option, but the menu featured a huge range of choices. I had the stir fry with brown rice, tofu and cashews, which would have been perfect if the cashews weren't so salty. The brown bread & focaccia was delicious as well. The food tasted very fresh and all the items seemed to be prepared with high quality ingredients. We ended the night with some decaf cappuccinos, but if you want something sinful just walk a few doors down to Mildred's sister shop Mrs. Marengo's Cake Shop, which sells some very tasty looking cakes and cupcakes.

You and Leo should check out the London Dungeon sometime when you are in London. It is so much fun and a little bit scary.
